29 CFR 1926.303(b)(1): Grinding machines were not equipped with safety guards in conformance with the requirements of ANSI B7.1-1970, Safety Code for the Use, Care, and Protection of abrasive wheels, and paragraph (d) of this section. (a) Rt 21, Two Mile Creek Bridge - On or about 6/20/19, employees were operating a DeWalt angle grinder with an abrasive wheel attached that was not guarded in accordance with ANSI B7.1-1970 (Section 4.3.7.1), exposing employees to severe injury.
