29 CFR 1910.133(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation: a) Carvana, LLC, Winder, GA - Employees were spraying BCL Dissolve All and BCL 1 Step Cleaner, classified as corrosive. Employees were using regular safety. Appropriate chemical resistant eye protection was not use, on or about 6/25/19. b) Carvana, LLC, Winder, GA - Employees were spraying BCL Dissolve All and BCL 1 Step Cleaner, classified as corrosive. An employee was using regular prescription glasses. Appropriate chemical resistant eye protection was not use, on or about 6/25/19.

29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(6)(i): Except as provided in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(7) and 29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(8), the employer did not ensure that each container of hazardous chemicals in the workplace was labeled, tagged or marked with the information required by 29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(1)(i) through 29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(1)(v) a) Carvana, LLC, Winder, GA - Employees were using cleaners such as but not limited to Acetone and Dissolve all. The spray and squirt bottles had GHS, NFPA and HMIS labels that did not indicate the specific hazard of the chemical contained in the bottles. The boxes were not numbered or checked, and the all the pictograms of the GHS were used on the same bottle, on or about 6/25/19. b) Carvana, LLC, Winder, GA - In Bay C washing stating, employees were spraying BCL 1 Step Cleaner, classified as corrosive and ZEP Odor Counteractant. The hoses were not labeled, on or about 6/25/19. c) Carvana, LLC, Winder, GA - In Bay A washing stating, employees were spraying BCL 1 Step Cleaner, classified as corrosive. The hose was not labeled, on or about 6/25/19.
