29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): (a) Workers of a subcontractor were not protected from fall hazards while re-roofing an existing home with a steep-sloped roof (approximately 13:12 pitch). The ground to eave height was 13.7 feet with a peak height of approximately 30 feet. (b) Workers of a subcontractor were not protected from fall hazards while re-roofing an existing detached apartment with an approximate 6:12 pitch. The ground to eave height was approximately 12 feet; higher at the peak on the gable ends. NOTE: Certification of corrective action AND documentation as evidence of corrections are required for this item.
