29 CFR 1926.100(a): Employees working in areas where there was a possible danger of head injury from impact, or falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns, were not protected by protective helmets:  (a)  Employees of a subcontractor were exposed to overhead hazards when working below others engaged in truss work, sheathing, and other framing activities. 29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1):  The employer did not ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation:  (a)  Employees of a subcontractor engaged in wood framing of a new home were not wearing safety glasses while using equipment such as nail guns and power saws. 29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2): The employer did not initiate and maintain programs which provided for frequent and regular inspections of the job site, materials and equipment to be made by a competent person(s):  a) The controlling employer, HHS Construction, LLC dba Boise Hunter Homes did not identify or have an effective system in place to identify and correct hazards to which their subcontractors were exposed.  These hazards include but may not be limited to fall hazards ranging from 11 feet to 18 feet to the ground below when performing framing activities.   b) The controlling employer, HHS Construction, LLC dba Boise Hunter Homes did not identify or have an effective system in place to identify and correct hazards to which their subcontractors were exposed.  These hazards include but may not be limited to not wearing personal protective equipment (hard hats and safety glasses) when needed.        HHS Construction, LLC dba Boise Hunter Homes was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, 29 CFR1926.20(b)(2) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1333471, citation 1, item 1a, and was affirmed as a final order on September 14, 2018, with respect to a workplace located at 3842 Millbrook Way, Boise, ID 83712.   Note) Certification of corrective actions are required for these items.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):  (a) Employees of a subcontractor engaged in wood framing activities for a new single family home, including truss installation, securing, and sheathing, were exposed to fall hazards from 11.7 to 18 feet high.  The roof was estimated between 6:12 to 8:12 pitch.  HHS Construction, LLC dba Boise Hunter Homes was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1333471, citation 1, item 1b, and was affirmed as a final order on September 11, 2018, with respect to a workplace located at 3842 Millbrook Way, Boise, ID 83712.
