29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): (a) Alex Gutters and Ironworks, LLC at 1661 Geneva St. Aurora, CO 80010: On June 25, 2019 the employer did not ensure employees were protected from injury, in that an employee working on the roof of a three story apartment building was not utilizing a fall protection system. The employee was fatality injured when fell to the ground while in the process of removing the gutter. (b) Alex Gutters and Ironworks, LLC at 1661 Geneva St. Aurora, CO 80010: On or before June 25, 2019 the employer did not ensure employees were protected from injury, in that employees removing gutters while working on the roof of a three story apartment building were not utilizing a fall protection system. This condition exposed employees to a fall hazard of approximately 30 feet.
