29 CFR 1926.453(b)(2)(v): A body belt shall be worn and a lanyard attached to the boom or basket when working from an aerial lift. a. Located at 57 E Chestnut Street, Columbus, Ohio: On or about July 26, 2019, the employer was observed not to have worn a body harness and lanyard attached to the aerial lift basket. The employer worked in the basket of the JLG Lift, Model T350 and performed roofing work. The employer was exposed to a fall distance of 14 feet 7 inches from the aerial basket to the ground level.
