OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): Executive Order 12196 Section 1-201(a): The head of the agency did not furnish to employees places and conditions of employment that are free from recognized hazards that are causing or are likely to cause death or serious physical harm in that the employees were exposed to struck by hazards. Location: 85 Harrison St., Dover, NJ. On or about 6/18/19; a) An employee working alone on a Winder Machine was permitted to enter the "caution area" of the machine to remove plastic from the machine's rolls. As per the Winder operations manual, section C, page 8; "When anyone places any part of the body within the caution area, one man is to stand by the emergency stop button". As a result, the employee received injuries to various parts of his body when he was caught in between the machine's rolls.
