The employer did not provide the Occupational Safety and Health Administration certification of abatement as required for Citation #1, Item #2 issued August 1, 2019.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):  Employees were exposed to a fall hazard. Employees engaged in framing activities were exposed to a fall of approximately 20 feet from the top of the building to the ground below. The employees were not using fall protection.

Employees engaged in framing activities were exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 20 feet from the top of the building to the ground below. The employer had not provided employees with fall protection training.
