29 CFR 1926.453(b)(2)(iv):  Employees shall always stand firmly on the floor of the basket, and shall not sit or climb on the edge of the basket or use planks, ladders, or other devices for a work position.  On or about June 27, 2019, at the worksite 10013 W. Sunset Strip, the employer did not ensure that employees remained the basket of the aerial lift which was being used to install insulation boards on the exterior wall of the building.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.  On or about June 27, 2019, at the worksite 10013 W. Sunset Strip, the employer did not ensure that an employee sitting on the  parapet wall, approximately 17 feet 11inches, above the ground below, was protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.
