29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system: Employees were exposed to fall hazards. At the location of lot 22 South Provence in Olathe, Kansas, employees engaged in framing a single family dwelling were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 12 feet from the ceiling joists to the ground below. The employees were exposed in that a fall protection system was not in place to keep them from falling.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer shall provide a training program for each employee who might be exposed to fall hazards. The program shall enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and shall train each employee in the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards: Employees were exposed to fall hazards. At the location of Lot 22 South Provence St., in Olathe, Kansas, employees engaged in residential construction activities were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 12 feet from the ceiling joists to the ground below. A training program recognize, evaluate and control fall hazards and to minimize the hazards of falling was not provided.
