29 CFR 1910.303(b)(2): Listed or labeled electrical equipment was not used or installed in accordance with instructions included in the listing or labeling:  (a)  U.S. Border Patrol at 10710 North Newport Highway, Spokane, WA; Intelligence/ Detention Building, Detention Area;  On or about June 26, 2019 and at time prior; A relocatable power tap (surge protector power strip) was plugged into another relocatable power tap which powered Dell computer equipment and electronic fingerprinting equipment.   (b)  Intelligence/ Detention Building, Room 219; On or about June 26, 2019 and at time prior;  A Sanyo refrigerator was plugged into a relocatable power tap (surge protector).   (c)  Intelligence/ Detention Building, Thunderdome Room; On or about June 26, 2019 and at time prior; A Keurig was plugged into a relocatable power tap (surge protector).   (d)  Intelligence/ Detention Building, Thunderdome Room; On or about June 26, 2019 and at time prior; A white relocatable power tap (surge protector) was plugged into another white relocatable power tap (surge protector), which powered Dell computer equipment.   (e)  Spokane Trailer;  On or about June 26, 2019 and at time prior; A Soleil heater was plugged into a relocatable tap (surge protector).   (f)  Special Projects Team Trailer;  On or about June 26, 2019 and at time prior; A microfridge stand alone microwave and a Westinghouse full size refrigerator was plugged into a relocatable power tap (surge protector).   The UL listing states that relocatable power taps are designed to be plugged into an outlet, and not daisy chained and plugged into other relocatable power taps or extension cords.  This exposes employees to possible electrical fire hazards.    The UL listing states that relocatable power taps are designed for low amperage computer and audiovisual types of equipment, and not appliances.  This exposes employees to possible electrical fire hazards.
