In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19, abatement certification and documentation is required for this violation.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:  a) Roof, Walck's 4WD Willys and Jeep Parts, 725 White Street, Bowmanstown, PA - Two (2) employees engaged in replacement shingling activities on the steep-sloped portion of the main roof (6:12 pitch) without any means of fall protection, exposing the employees to a fall hazard that was eleven (11) foot above asphalt on the northeast roof eave side and thirty-three (33) foot above concrete on the southwest roof eave side, as observed on or about June 28, 2019.  In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19, abatement certification and documentation is required for this violation. The hazardous condition was corrected during the inspection.
