29 CFR 1910.134(g)(1)(i)(A): The employer did not prohibit the growth of facial hair of employees using tight fitting face piece respirators which would prevent a seal between the face piece and the face: a) On or about June 26, 2019, in the south west section of the Tokai Carbon facility, employees required to wear Honeywell 5400 half face respirators while spraying Gunite were not prohibited from growing facial hair during the use of respirators. b) On or about June 26, 2019, in the south west section of the Tokai Carbon facility, employees were observed with facial hair while wearing Moldex model 2200N95 tight fitting respirators.
