29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee use appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors or potentially injurious light radiation:  a- Building 15 - 38, 40, 42, 44, 46, 48 Birdie Way, Lawrenceville NJ: Company worksite workers were exposed to struck by hazards when using pneumatic nailers, portable circular saws, etc. without eye or face protection. Condition observed on or about 07/02/19.   NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM.  FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor was an alternative fall protection measure provided:  a- Building 15 - 38, 40, 42, 46, 48 Birdie Way, Lawrenceville NJ: Workers were exposed to fall hazards, up to and in excess of 10 feet to the ground surface below, when walking and working at residential structure's unprotected edges without the use of fall protection.  Condition observed on or about 07/02/19.   NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(2): The employer did not assure that each employee exposed to fall hazards was trained by a competent person qualified in the areas specified in 29 CFR 1926.503 (a)(2)(i) through (viii)  a- Building 15 - 38, 40, 42, 46, 48 Birdie Way, Lawrenceville NJ: Workers were exposed to fall hazards, up to and in excess of 10 feet to the ground surface below, when walking and working at residential structure's unprotected edges without the use of fall protection.  The employer did not provide the employees with training to recognize and address the hazards associated with falls.  Condition observed on or about 07/02/19.   NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
