29 CFR 1926.453(b)(2)(v): 29 CFR 1926.453(b)(2)(v): A safety harness with lanyard attached to the boom or basket was not worn by employee(s) working from an aerial lift: 9240 W. Florissant: Employer is exposing employees to hazardous conditions. Employees are permitted to operate aerial lifts without using a safety harness with lanyard attached to the boom of the aerial lift. On 06/26/2019 an employee was exposed to a fall distance of approximately 20 feet while working from an aerial lift, Skyjack Model SJ45T, Serial Number 1000638. The employee did not use a safety harness with lanyard attached to the boom of the aerial lift. There was no fall protection device in the boom when it was brought down to ground level.
