29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: a. Jet Equipment & Tool (model 1660-3PGH S/N JS178) Lathe - On or about July 2, 2019, employees are exposed to an amputation hazard while engaged in polishing procedures where the machine's head chuck was not guarded to prevent accidental contact.
