Such programs would support the employer and employees in identifying and avoiding potential hazards such as, but not limited to, falls during job site operations.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards: A) David Wheeler Construction, LLC, conducting work at 25212 US Highway 20, Fayette, OH 43521: On or about July 11, 2019, the employer did not ensure that employees were adequately trained in the appropriate use of fall protection such as, but not limited to, the use of personal fall arrest systems, or alternative measures of fall protection while conducting wood framing activities atop the commercial structure. Employees did not use fall protection and were exposed to approximately 22 feet fall hazard from the roof of the structure to the ground below.

The employees were exposed to approximately 10 feet fall hazards when using the ladder to access the working level in order to conduct roofing activities.
