29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a- Building 3000 - 477 Evesboro - Medford Road, Evesham NJ: A worker, not using fall protection, was exposed to fall hazards up to 20 feet to the ground surface below when performing HVAC installation and other related activities while working and standing at and near unprotected edges of a commercial building's third floor balcony. Condition observed on or about 07/11/19. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
