On or about July 15th 20190, at 3088 Griffin Rd. Fort Lauderdale FL 34112, employees were exposed to an approximate 8.5-feet fall hazard while in the process of performing roofing work.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface to which the ladder was used to gain access: a. On or about July 15th 20190, at 3088 Griffin Rd. Fort Lauderdale FL 34112, employees were exposed to an 8.5 feet fall hazard when using an extension ladder which did not extend at least 3 feet above the upper landing surface and was not secured from being displaced while gaining access to the roof of an existing building.
