In Front of the residential roof housing: On or about July 16, 2019, and at times prior thereto, employees were exposed to struck-by flying projectile hazards while using a Hitachi NV45AB2 7/8-Inch to 1-3/4-Inch Coil Roofing Nailer, a Dewalt Circular Saw 20-Volt MAX Lithium-Ion Battery Pack 3.0Ah and a Wood Handle Shingle Shovel, while installing shingles without safety glasses.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501(b):  In Front of the residential roof housing: On or about July 16, 2019, and at times prior thereto, employees without fall protection were exposed to a fall hazard greater than 6 feet to the unpaved ground below while removing and installing shingles on the roof.

Aluminum Extension Ladder and a Gorilla Ladders 22 ft. MPX Multi-Position, not extending at least 3 feet above the landing.
