29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(4): Ladders were used for purposes other than the purposes for which they were designed:(a)(LOCATION)(IDENTIFY SPECIFIC OPERATIONS(S) AND/OR CONDITIONS) a) At the jobsite, on the roof, on or about 7/17/19: Employees were installing siding while working from the surface of a 6:12 pitch roof, where a 6-foot step ladder was placed on the roof surface to each side of the dormer (two ladders). Workers used the ladders to provide footing. The ladders were not designed to be used in this manner.
