29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2): The employer did not initiate and maintain a safety program which provides for frequent and regular inspections of jobsites, materials, and equipment to be made by a competent person: (a) On or about July 16, 2018, and at times prior, Roof Corp of Metro Denver Inc., as the controlling employer, did not ensure that the employees of OSR LLC Construction, subcontractor, were safe while reroofing a house, by conducting regular and frequent inspections of the job site by a competent person in order to prevent and detect safety and health hazards. Hazards identified at the site included falls from the roof and ladders, overhead falling objects, and eye injury. Roof Corp of Metro Denver Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1188729, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on December 19, 2016, with respect to a workplace located at 5631 W. 36th Place in Wheat Ridge, Colorado.
