29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:    (a) On or about 07/17/2019 - 2033 Village Drive, Moody, AL, an employee was exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 17 feet, 5 inches when accessing the roof from the top plank of the scaffold.

29 CFR 1926.451(e)(1): When scaffold platforms were more than 2 feet (0.6 m) above or below a point of access, portable ladders, hook-on ladders, attachable ladders, stair towers (scaffold stairways/towers), stairway-type ladders (such as ladder stands), ramps, walkways, integral prefabricated scaffold access, or direct access from other scaffold, structure, personnel hoist, or similar surface was not used.  Crossbraces were used as a means of access:    (a) On or about 07/17/2019 - 2033 Village Drive, Moody, AL, employee(s) accessed the scaffold by climbing the side of the scaffold.    Unique Stucco, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.451(e)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1228030, citation number 1 item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on 07/11/2017, with respect to a workplace located at Trail Creek Village Shopping Center, 700 US Hwy 29, Athens, GA.
