29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toe boards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: (a)Mills Construction, Incorporated at 422 East Highway 14, Volga, SD 57071: On or about and at times prior to July 22, 2019, the employer did not ensure that employees conducting roofing activities on a commercial 6 -in-12 pitched roof were protected from falls. Employees were working on the roof near the edge with no fall protection system in place. This condition exposed employees to a fall hazard of 14 to 24 feet.
