29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): 29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee used appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles.  (a): Exterior Roof- The employer did not ensure that an employee was using appropriate eye protection while using a nail gun. An employee was using a nail gun to install roofing and was exposed to projectile eye hazards, on or about July 26, 2019.  There is no abatement certification or documentation required for this item.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employees provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):  (a): Exterior Roof- Four employees engaged in residential construction 6 feet or more above lower levels were not protected by any method of fall protection. The employees were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 26 feet while working on the roof, on or about July 26, 2019.  There is no abatement certification or documentation required for this item.

29 CFR 1926.1052(c)(1)(ii): Stairways having four or more risers or rising more than 30 inches (76 cm), whichever is less, were not equipped with a stairrail system along each unprotected side or edge:  (a): Front Exterior Stairway- An employee was exposed to fall hazards of approximately 7 feet while accessing the 1st floor level using a wooden stairway without any handrail, on or about July 26, 2019. Employees were accessing a roof by using a portable extension ladder that did not have rails extend at least 3 feet above the upper landing surface, on or about, July 26, 2019.
