29 CFR 1926.1408(a)(2): The equipment's maximum working radius could get closer than 20 feet to a power line and the employer did not meet the requirements in Option (1), Option (2), or Option (3) of this section: a) On or about 7/23/19 at a sign installation project located at 5293 Transit Road, Amherst, New York; employees were installing a new sign using a crane with the top of the boom near to a 34.5 kV distribution line. The crane operator did not ensure proper clearances to prevent accidental contact or electrical shock and was approximately 6 feet from the line. NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
