OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees a) This violation occurred on or about July 29, 2019, and at times prior thereto; when employees, who used an overhead crane with a below-the-hook lifter/slab hoisting clamp to handle and move granite and marble slabs, were exposed to a struck-by hazard from a suspended load when working in close proximity to the to the load. b) This violation occurred on or about July 26, 2019, and at times prior thereto; when employees operated a forklift with a fork truck attachment/boom lift without a chain and not securely connected to the carriage of the fork with the restraint strap.
