29 CFR 1926.100(a): Employees working in areas where there was a possible danger of head injury from impact, or falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns, were not protected by protective helmets: a) East side of building; 26 South Main Street, Medford, NJ: Employees exposed to head injuries while installing shingles for the two roof overhangs on the east side of the building at approximately 10 feet and 20 feet above ground level; employees were susceptible to impact-type head injuries while handling tools and shingling materials, bending and leaning around or between scaffolding members and from slips and falls, on or about 07/29/2019. NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO DO SO WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 AS PER 29 CFR 1903.19.
