29 CFR 1926.304(d): Portable, power-driven circular saw was not equipped with a guard above and below the base plate or shoe:  a)  Worksite, 54 Meetinghouse Rd., Southampton, NY - An employee was cutting lumber with a Makita Circular Saw, #5008MGA, with the retractable guard wedged in the open position; on or about 7/22/19.  Note: Because abatement of this violation is already documented in the case file, the employer need not submit certification or documentation of abatement for this violation as normally required by CFR 1903.19.
