29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): (a) On or about July 27, 2019, the employer did not ensure that each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet or more above lower levels were protected by guardrails, safety nets, or personal fall arrest systems. An employees of LB Vinyl Exteriors, LLP was exposed to fall hazards of up to 13 feet, while engaged in residential siding activities. Employee was not using fall protection equipment. Abatement Note: Abatement certification is required for this item (see enclosed "Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet").
