29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(3)(ii): Employee training did not include the physical and health hazards of the chemicals in the work area: (Construction Reference: 1926.59) (a) Costco Receiving restroom, 40 Fischer Crossing Drive, Sharpsburg, GA.- On or about July 31, 2019, and at times prior, the employer exposed two employees to a respiratory hazard, in that the employees were mixing Parts A & B of a SGC Polyaspartic Topcoat that contained hexamethylene diisocyanate and a polymeric isocyanate, and had not received training on the health hazards of the topcoat. Isocyanates can cause allergy or asthma symptoms or breathing difficulties if inhaled.
