29 CFR 1910.219(d)(1):  Pulleys, any parts of which are seven (7) feet or less from the floor or working platform, shall be guarded in accordance with the standards specified in paragraphs (m) and (o) of this section:     Employees were exposed to struck-by hazards.   The employer had not provided a guard for the Industrial Air Compressor's pulleys that was inside the Bay door 1 compressor room.  The two pulleys were between 52 - 66 inches from the floor.

29 CFR 1910.219(e)(1)(i): Horizontal belts which had both runs 42 inches or less from the floor level were not fully enclosed by guards conforming to requirements specified in 29 CFR 1910.219(m) and (o):   Employees were exposed to struck-by hazards.  The employer had not provided a guard for the Industrial Air Compressor's horizontal belt that was inside the Bay door 1 compressor room.  The horizontal belt was approximately 23 inches long and 66 inches from the floor.

29 CFR 1910.253(b)(4)(i): Oxygen cylinders were stored near highly combustible material, especially oil and grease; or near reserve stocks of carbide and acetylene or other fuel-gas cylinders, or near other substance likely to cause or accelerate fire:  Employees were exposed to fire / explosion hazards.  Employees using welding torches for salvage work activities at the establishment were exposed to fire / explosion hazards.  A liquid oxygen cylinder was being stored next to a propane cylinder.

29 CFR 1910.305(g)(2)(ii): Flexible cords were not used in continuous lengths without splice or tap:  Employees were exposed to electrical shock hazards.  Employees engaged in operating the Industrial Air Compressor in the Bay door 1 compressor room were exposed to electrical hazards when plugging in the air compressor.  The Industrial Air Compressor's power cord was spliced with a 12/2 flexible romex cable and a 6/2 SRDT cable.

Employees engaged in operating the Industrial Air Compressor in the Bay door 1 compressor room were exposed to electrical hazards when plugging in the air compressor.  The power cord flexible conduit entering the air compressor electrical box was not provided with strain relief.

Employees engaged in using torches to cut apart a combine in a salvage yard were exposed to fire / explosion hazards in that the employer had not developed and implemented a hazard communication program to inform employees of the hazards associated with the chemicals with which they work.  Hazardous chemicals included but were not limited to gasoline, liquid oxygen, and propane.
