29 CFR 1926.502(b)(2): Midrails, screens, mesh, intermediate vertical members, or equivalent intermediate structural members were not installed between the top edge of the guardrail system and the walking/working surface when there was no wall or parapet wall at least 21 inches (53 cm) high: a) 2nd Floor - A guardrail used as fall protection on the stairwell was observed without a midrail, exposing employees to an approximate 29 foot fall hazard to the ground below, on or about August 2, 2019. No abatement certification or documentation required.
