29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Employees were not provided with eye and face protection equipment when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents: (a) South Wall: On or about August 6, 2019, and at times prior, the employer exposed an employee to struck-by hazards while using pneumatic nail guns, in that protective eyewear was not provided to an employee operating this tool at 120 PSI while engaged in siding installation activities.

29 CFR 1926.451(g)(1): Each employee on a scaffold more than 10 feet (3.1 m) above a lower level shall be protected from falling to that lower level. Paragraphs (g)(1)(i) through (vii) of this section establish the types of fall protection to be provided to the employees on each type of scaffold. Paragraph (g)(2) of this section addresses fall protection for scaffold erectors and dismantlers. a) South Wall: On or about August 6, 2019, the employer exposed one employee to fall hazards of approximately 12 feet while installing siding material on a single family residential construction site without proper fall protection on top of a ladder jack scaffold.
