29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b). Location: Jobsite Instance 1. On or about August 7, 2019, a worker was exposed to a fall hazard of over 30 feet to the ground below while working where fall protection had not been provided. Instance 2. On or about August 7, 2019, workers were exposed to fall hazards of up to eight feet to the ground below while walking and working were a guard rail had not be installed. C. Kearns Construction LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1164523, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 8/23/2016, with respect to a workplace located at 125 Harvre Street East Boston MA 02128.
