29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2): The employer did not initiate and maintain programs which provided for frequent and regular inspections of the job site, materials and equipment to be made by a competent person(s)     Location:  a) Jobsite at 4051 Nostrand Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11235     On or about 08/06/2019, the employer did not have a competent person on site to perform frequent and regular inspection of the jobsite to maintain a safe and healthful workplace.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.    Location:  a) On the exterior stairway on the jobsite:    On or about 08/06/2019, an employee was performing preparation work on a steel beam supporting the exterior stairway between the second and third floor by standing on the parapet wall. He was exposed to falling approximately 8 feet to the lower level. The employee was not protected by the use of guardrails, safety nets, or personal fall arrest systems.
