29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2): The employer did not initiate and maintain programs which provided for frequent and regular inspections of the job site, materials and equipment to be made by a competent person: (a)Masonry Components, Inc at 21st Street and Douglas Avenue, Yankton, SD 57078: On or about and at times prior to August 6, 2019 the employer did not ensure that frequent and regular inspections were conducted of the job site, in that subcontracted employees were working in an unprotected excavation. This condition exposed subcontracted employees to struck-by and cave-in hazards.
