29 CFR 1910.22(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that all places of employment, passageways, storerooms, service rooms, and walking-working surfaces are kept in a clean, orderly, and sanitary condition: (a) Motel 6 at 3009 West Russell Street, Sioux Falls, SD 57107: On or about and at times prior to August 8, 2019, the employer did not ensure that the pool room was in a clean and orderly condition, in that pool maintenance items, cleaning equipment, air conditioning units and other materials were limiting the available exit routes and walking-working surfaces. This condition exposed employees to tripping and potential egress hazards.
