29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor was an alternative fall protection measure provided: (a) E-1 Roofing, LLC, at 8200 W. 20th St., Greeley, CO 80634: On and before August 8, 2019, the exposing employer did not ensure employees were protected from injury, in that approximately 9 employees were engaged in re-roofing activities on a large apartment building, three stories high with a roof pitch of 6/12, without the use of a fall protection system. This condition exposed the employees to fall hazards of approximately 27 feet. E-1 Roofing, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1406484, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 7/18/19, with respect to a workplace located at 3635 W. 29th St., Greeley, CO 80634.
