29 CFR 1910.178(q)(1): Any power-operated industrial truck not in safe operating condition shall be removed from service. All repairs shall be made by authorized personnel. a) On or about August 12, 2019, in the facility, the employer failed to ensure propane powered forklifts operated by employees, including a Nissan forklift (#27), Serial Number CPJ029W1312, were maintained so that carbon monoxide levels in the exhaust did not exceed one (1) percent.
