29 CFR 1926.1052(c)(1): Stairways having four or more risers or rising more than 30 inches (76 cm), whichever is less, were not equipped with at least one handrail and one stairrail system along each unprotected side or edge: a) Claywood Construction LLC at 7300 East Harvard in Denver, CO 80231: On or before August 13, 2019 the employer did not ensure that stair rail systems had been installed on all necessary stairways. The stairway located on the east side of the Ivy Crossing Apartment Complex was missing a stair rail on one side of the stairs. Employees were performing staircase renovation work and had removed the stair rail without installing either a temporary stair rail or wearing fall protection. This exposed employees to a fall hazards approximately 10 feet above the ground.
