29 CFR 1910.135(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee wears a protective helmet when working in areas where there is a potential for injury to the head from falling objects. a) At the facility, in the plant at the roofing scaffolding, on or about August 20, 2019, employees were required to work on walking working surfaces that presented multiple levels where overhead hazards became present. The employer failed to ensure employees exposed to head injuries wore protective headgear, i.e. hardhats.
