OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to excessive heat: Instances: a) On or about August 7, 2019 at the 58C United Parcel Service Inc. route in Old East Dallas, drivers engaged in courier services were exposed to the hazard of high ambient temperatures; b) On or about September 6, 2019, at the 58C United Parcel Service Inc. route in Old East Dallas, drivers engaged in courier services were exposed to the hazard of high ambient temperatures; c) On or about September 6, 2019 at the 58C United Parcel Service Inc. route in Old East Dallas, a supervisor engaged in on the job observation of a driver employee was exposed to the hazard of high ambient temperatures.
