In the shop, the single metallic outlet boxes were hung as a pendant which is not in accordance with the listing and labeling which required it to be surface mounted exposing employees to electrical shock hazards.

29 CFR 1910.305(g)(2)(iii): Flexible cords and cables shall be connected to devices and fittings so that strain relief is provided that will prevent pull from being directly transmitted to joints or terminal screws. In the shop area, the single metallic outlet box hanging from the ceiling had the outer sheathing pulled due to poor strain relief exposing employees to electrical shock hazards.
