29 CFR 1910.95(d)(3)(i): Monitoring was not repeated whenever a change in production, process, equipment or controls increased noise exposures to the extent that additional employees were exposed at or above the action level: (a) Plant 2: On or about August 20, 2019 the employer had not conducted repeat noise monitoring after a change was made to press STW 3002 (A.K.A. Press 3) in 2018 that increased its noise level such that all press operators in the area were now exposed above the Action Level. Press operators in the area were exposed on August 23, 2019 to 9-hour Time Weighted Averages of 87.8 dbA, 88.5 dbA, 88.1 dbA, and 86.4 dbA which exceeded the 50 percent Action Level of 84.2 dbA for a nine hour exposure duration.
