29 CFR 1926.453(b)(2)(v): A body belt with lanyard attached to the boom or basket was not worn by employee(s) working from an aerial lift: a. On or about August 20, 2019, at the jobsite, employees were exposed to an ejection hazard when using a truck mount aerial lift. The employees were installing letters of a sign along the exterior of a commercial building and the safety lanyards attached to safety harness employees were wearing were not connected to anchor points. Don Signs, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.453(b)(2)(v), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1249572, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on August 3, 2017, with respect to a workplace located at 7900 US Hwy 19, Pinellas Park, FL 33780.
