29 CFR 1926.405(a)(2)(ii)(J): Extension cord sets used with portable electric tools and appliances shall be of three-wire type and shall be designed for hard or extra-hard usage. a) On or about 08/15/19, in the third floor hallway outside of room 302, on the Building Renovation Construction Site, 243 Sears St., Buffalo, NY: A speaker was connected to 120 volt-ac power via a series of extension cords. The last extension cord in the series was a flat two-wire cord, which was also not designed for hard or extra hard usage. NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
