29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): a) Worksite: Employees performing roofing work were exposed to falls of up to and including 20 ft. in that they were working without fall protection; on or about 8/16/19. b) Worksite: Employees were exposed to falls of approximately 10 ft. from an unprotected side into the basement egress well below; on or about 8/16/19. Note: In addition to abatement certification the employer is required to submit abatement documentation for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19. KOFC Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1384496, citation number 1, item number 1 issued on 5/23/2019 and was affirmed as a final order on 5/30/2019, with respect to a worksite located at 73 Dayton Lane in Easthampton, NY 11937.
