The guarding device shall be in conformity with any appropriate standards therefor, or, in the absence of applicable specific standards, shall be so designed and constructed as to prevent the operator from having any part of his body in the danger zone during the operating cycle.         a)     This violation occurred on August 15, 2019, where an employee received a cut to his left middle finger while operating an electric Wolf Blazer circular knife that was not guarded correctly.       b)     This violation occurred on August 15, 2019, where employees were exposed to struck-by hazards of paper cutter blade left in the raised position when not in use.
