OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): Section 5(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that an employee was exposed to fall hazards while being lifted in a skid steer bucket to perform work approximately 10 feet above the ground. a) Facility, 1001 Clairton Boulevard, Pleasant Hills, PA: On August 15, 2019, an employee was standing in the bucket of a Bobcat S175 Skid Steer that was elevated approximately 10 feet above the floor, attempting to replace an overhead retractable electric reel, and fell to the concrete floor below.
